By working collaboratively with partners and communities, I shed light on histories that have been previously overlooked. This shifts old narratives and offers a new understanding of the past and present.

Historical Research and Interpretation

I love digging into primary sources and archival documents. By asking new questions and approaching sources differently, there’s still much to learn.

I’m experienced in finding and analyzing archival and primary sources, as well as conducting oral histories. I share these findings in compelling ways and am happy to provide you with the building blocks you need for the project you’re envisioning.

Exhibition Development

The stories we tell about the past matter. Engaging exhibitions and programs raise thought-provoking questions and inspire a greater connection to the past.

I can develop an exhibition for your organization or work with you on any part of the process, from the initial planning and research phase to the selection of objects and development of content. Together, we’ll create a compelling exhibition that offers a deeper understanding of and lasting connection to the past.

Interpretative Planning

We’ll work together to define your interpretive goals for a project or exhibition, including the key questions you’d like to ask, themes you’d like to highlight, and stories you’d like to share. My emphasis is on moving towards more inclusive historical interpretation and storytelling, and we’ll consider how to engage local communities and stakeholders in meaningful ways.

We’ll develop an interpretive plan that highlights multiple perspectives and offers an inclusive view of the past. Through our work together, your visitors will see themselves reflected in the stories you share.

Let's work together!
